Long time followers of this blog or of our Twitter feed will know that I’m a big fan of Alison Arngrim. I “took it public” on this here blog over a year ago- on May 27, 2009 to be exact, when I published this mash note.
Today Alison appeared at the Big Gay Ice Cream Truck. I nearly horked. She’s here in town on a press junket for her new memoir, “Confessions of a Prairie Bitch” and just this morning she was on The Today Show. Somehow she squeezed me into her schedule; posed for pictures, signed a copy of her book for me, shot a little video plugging the truck (I’ll show you later) and of course she ate some ice cream!

So here’s the best part. We cooked up a little contest to give away an autographed copy of “Prairie Bitch” to a lucky Twitter follower.
Imagine Nellie Oleson. Now imagine ice cream. What do you come up with?
Create a sundae either FOR Nellie (something you think she’d like) or INSPIRED BY Nellie (what you think her character dictates). Alison is going to pick the most inspired creation, and that person will get THE BOOK.
To enter, you’ve got to be a Twitter follower of both @Arngrim and @biggayicecream. Send us your creation like this example

You might have to explain the tweet to your friends, but that’s part of the fun!

This is hysterical! I was just watching an episode of Little House the other day and wondered what had happened to Allison... You and she made my DAY with this blog posting....
